Lauren’s Lore

Bold ideas, big fandoms, and a lot of time online.

Here are some things I can do for you, and some things you should know about me.

Creative Capabilities

  1. Creative strategy is more than a north star, content pillars, and creative levers (though I love building those). It's figuring out the big idea behind a campaign and how it should show up for the fans who care about it most, while giving newcomers a reason to join in.

I always ask what people want to see and why they care. Then I keep coming back to it: checking what's landing, what isn't, and adjusting along the way.

The best strategy keeps up with the audience, the platforms, and the world around it.

  2. I run day-to-day social for brands like Netflix, Care Bears, and Apple TV, and I'm part of the whole process: building the platform strategy, producing assets, publishing, and jumping into the comments with the community.

I keep up with trends and platform updates, but the landscape changes about every three days, so staying curious is part of the job.

It's part instinct, part strategy, and part brainrot.

  3. I love the stage where nothing is off the table, and a random joke can become the whole campaign.

Then I get to shape it into something real, whether that's a full content rollout, a one-off splashy stunt, a wild card reactive moment, an IRL activation, or bespoke talent ideas for a press junket.

Coming up with a cool idea is fun, but seeing it actually happen is always a pinch-me moment.

  4. As a creative strategist, my work overlaps a lot with art direction. I come up with the creative vision, write the concept, and pull the references, down to the timecodes and exact imagery. I align with design on typography, platform-native feel, and specs, then give feedback and problem solve alongside them.

Lucky for me, I've worked with some of the most talented static and motion designers in the game.

  5. I write for the fans who will lore-check you in the comments. One hour I'm Cheer Bear spreading caring advice, the next I'm hosting a Love Is Blind reunion on X, and the next I'm writing like I'm living through the fall of a galactic empire (that's Apple TV's Foundation, for the non-sci-fi nerds). Every project has its own unique voice and fandom, and I love leaning into it.

If you spot a typo on a brand page, please don't @ me. (Actually… do. I’d rather know).

  6. I love the whole pitch deck process, start to finish: dissecting the brief, coming up with the ideas, nailing the strategy, directing the mocks and deck design, writing the deck, and presenting it. But the sweet spot is the collaboration: the exciting conversations, the fun pivots in the room, and building on each other's ideas.

In a pitch, I love when everyone has a seat at the table, because the best ideas get even better in the room.

  7. I match the right creator to the right campaign, whether that's with a tool like Influencity or my deep knowledge of every niche corner of the internet. Then I brief them, workshop the creative together, give feedback, and stick with them until the post goes live.

The goal is to foster a partnership where the creator’s content feels like them and the brand gets something authentic to their audience.

Nobody likes an ad that feels like an ad, which is why the creator's voice comes first.

  8. The best part of my job is the people. Slack banter becomes happy hour, and happy hour becomes lifelong friendship.

That same energy carries into how I work with clients: winning new business isn't just showing up to pitch, it's grabbing lunch afterward and getting to know each other, so we feel like creative partners. I want clients to feel like part of the team, both during a project and long after it wraps.

Good work is better with good people.

  9. I've captured red carpet premieres, led interview content, assisted with Comic-Con activations, and spent a full weekend at Dinah Shore Music Festival in Palm Springs during a heatwave (for the content, obviously).

Whether I'm capturing moments in real time, directing fans and talent, or helping an activation run smoothly, I'm there to make sure the moment makes it to the feed (and give people FOMO along the way).

From Jessica Chastain's Walk of Fame ceremony to capturing the Care Bears at Erewhon, the range is real.

Thanks for being here.

A few things about me? I was born and raised in Los Angeles; I have a (perfect) golden retriever named Daisy, and I love coming up with scroll-stopping ideas so much I made a career out of it!

Nine niche facts

  1. I graduated from the University of San Francisco, where I basically spent all four years in Golden Gate Park.
  2. My go-to comfort movies are The Devil Wears Prada, The Intern, and The Princess Diaries (basically anything with Anne Hathaway).
  3. I hate the "clean girl aesthetic" (you will never catch me in a slicked-back bun), but I am all over whimsymaxing.
  4. I'm addicted to all things nostalgia. From thrifting antiques to a wardrobe that's 90% vintage to my throwback playlists. I yearn for simpler times.
  5. My love language is cooking. Every time I eat out, I say, "I could so make this at home."
  6. My sister Lindsey is a photographer and creative director, and we love working together whenever we get the chance (family discount not included).
  7. I love to hike, I'm ClassPass's number one advocate, and I'll take a long walk on the beach (unironically) or a trip to the park with my dog any day.
  8. I'm a Gemini (but if you ask for my big three, I have to check Co-Star every time).
  9. I love connecting with people! Whether it's making new friends at the coffee shop or starting meetings with a silly icebreaker, I am a people person and a girl’s girl to my core.
